ATTORNEY DANIEL J. HORGAN

Attorney Daniel J.Horgan has been a member of the Connecticut Bar and the United States District Court, District of Connecticut since 1990. He has spent his entire legal career as a trial lawyer, etching a reputation as a sincere, honest and zealous advocate for his clients. His practice is concentrated in civil litigation including personal injury, product liability, insurance litigation, police brutality and civil rights cases, workers’ compensation cases, medical and dental malpractice for the plaintiff, and tractor trailer/automobile collisions.
Mr. Horgan has handled personal injury matters of all kinds, including wrongful death, major motor vehicle accidents, fall downs, dog bites, and harassment in the workplace. He recently secured a $1.2 million dollar settlement for a teenager who was killed in a van rollover accident, while participating in a church youth group in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He also secured a multi-million dollar settlement on behalf of a family whose grandparents were killed in a motor vehicle accident in Auburn, Massachusetts involving a Canadian trucking company. He currently is one of four Connecticut lawyers who are representing victims of the tragic Rhode Island Station nightclub fire, which killed over 100 people and is currently pending in Federal Court in Providence, Rhode Island.
Mr. Horgan is routinely chosen by other lawyers to act as both the mediator and arbitrator in settling personal injury disputes. He has lectured at various seminars and programs sponsored by the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and local civic groups.
Mr. Horgan is an active member of the Connecticut Bar Association, Connecticut Trial Lawyer’s Association, and the Association of Trial Lawyer’s of America. He was recently nominated by his peers to be a member of the Board of Governors for the Connecticut Trials Lawyer’s Association. A graduate of Oswego State College in New York and Western New England school of Law, Attorney Horgan is admitted to the State and Federal Bars in Connecticut. |
